2027 Schedule

DAY 1 – JANUARY 9, 2027

9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

THE FIRST-TIME COMPETITOR EXPERIENCE:

The First-Time Competitor Experience: Your Roadmap to the Stage

Thinking about competing but not sure where to begin? From 9 AM–1 PM, this welcoming, beginner-focused experience will guide you through choosing the right division and show, the role of a coach, budgeting for prep, registering with the NPC, understanding athlete services, navigating check-ins and backstage procedures, and learning what judges expect.

The day will also explore competing in NPC Natural events, including drug-testing procedures, supplement contamination, reading labels, protecting eligibility, natural contest-prep strategies, and natural athlete success stories. Posing instruction and an open Q&A will give you a clear understanding of what to expect—and the confidence to take your next step toward the stage.

DAY 2 – JANUARY 23, 2027

9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

THE MODERN ATHLETE

Train Smarter. Protect Your Health. Perform at Your Best.

Today’s athlete needs more than a training plan. This educational experience explores the nutrition, health decisions, and mental challenges that can influence performance onstage and well-being beyond it. The day concludes with hands-on posing instruction for all levels and divisions.

1. FUELING THE MODERN ATHLETE

Nutrition, Recovery & Long-Term Performance

Learn how thoughtful nutrition can support training, contest preparation, performance, and post-show recovery. This session will explore sustainable fueling strategies, common prep and recovery challenges, and how athletes can transition out of competition season while protecting their health and maintaining a positive relationship with food.

2. PEPTIDES & GLP-1s: FACTS, HEALTH & RESPONSIBLE USE

Understanding the Changing Fitness Landscape

Peptides and GLP-1 medications have become major topics in fitness—but athletes need reliable information, not social-media hype. Qualified professionals will discuss what these compounds are, why they may be prescribed, possible benefits and risks, the importance of bloodwork and ongoing health monitoring, and where a coach’s role ends and a licensed medical professional’s responsibility begins.

3. STRONG MIND. STRONG ATHLETE.

Mental Health, Body Image & Life Beyond the Stage

Competition can strengthen confidence and discipline, but it can also create pressure, anxiety, body-image challenges, and difficulty adjusting after a show. This honest conversation will address the emotional demands of preparation, changing expectations of the body, post-show transitions, recognizing when support is needed, and building an identity that extends beyond appearance or competition results.

4. POSING EXPERIENCE

DAY 3 – FEBRUARY 6, 2027

Men’s — 9 AM
Women’s — 2 PM

THE STAGE EXPERIENCE

Step Onstage. Learn the Standard. Build Your Presentation.

This hands-on posing experience gives athletes in every division the opportunity to learn, practice, and receive individual feedback from NPC judges, IFBB Pros, and experienced coaches.

Athletes will work through mandatory poses, stage walks, comparisons, transitions, presentation, and overall stage presence while gaining a clearer understanding of what judges are looking for. Each session will also include an open Q&A, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions and receive practical guidance they can use in their next competition.

DAY 4 – FEBRUARY 20, 2027

9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

1. THE MASTERS ATHLETE

Health, Longevity & Sustainable Performance

Experience, discipline, and maturity can be tremendous advantages—but competing well beyond 35 also requires a more intentional approach. This session explores nutrition, training, recovery, and health considerations for athletes in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond. Learn strategies for maintaining muscle and bone health, supporting long-term performance, and recognizing when protecting your health should take priority over preparing for the next show.

2. WOMEN’S HEALTH THROUGH EVERY STAGE

Perimenopause, Menopause & the Female Athlete

Hormonal changes can affect sleep, recovery, energy, body composition, training, and overall well-being—but they do not have to end an athlete’s goals. This women-only conversation will explore the physical and emotional changes associated with perimenopause and menopause, questions athletes should discuss with qualified medical professionals, and practical ways to adapt training, nutrition, and recovery while continuing to pursue strength and performance.

3. MEN’S HEALTH AFTER 40

Hormones, Health Monitoring & Long-Term Performance

Men’s health needs can change with age, even when an athlete still feels strong and capable. This men-only session will address hormonal changes, cardiovascular health, bloodwork, recovery, sleep, muscle retention, and the importance of appropriate medical monitoring. The discussion will also help athletes understand the difference between responsible health management and sacrificing long-term wellness for short-term performance.

4. POSING EXPERIENCE
